Business Point: SaaS Growth & Exit Advisory
PE-ready introductions to exit-ready SaaS opportunities.
Better qualified opportunities, prepared before you see them. We work with founders 12 to 24 months before exit, getting the business and the numbers into shape. By the time we make the introduction, a lot of the hard work is done.
Speed up value creation in your portfolio companies.
You have the playbook, but capacity to execute is a constraint. We work with the leaders of your portfolio companies to speed up delivery on their growth plans, with hands-on execution of the work that delivers on the strategy.
Deal Flow: the problem
You need qualified opportunities that are aligned with your investment thesis: founders committed to the process, realistic valuation expectations, and clean financials, with the big parts of diligence done before the introduction.
Business Point works with founders for 12 to 24 months before they're ready to sell. We execute the projects required to get the business and the founder exit ready. By the time we make an introduction, a lot of work has been done, and the founder is deeply connected to the process.
Quick diligence. Fewer surprises. Faster deal execution. That's what exit-ready means to us.
Deal Flow: the process
Every business we introduce has been through a rigorous process designed so that your team's time is spent evaluating the opportunity.
We pop the hood to surface the issues that slow down or kill deals: messy financials and legals, founder dependency, unpredictable revenue, churn, and structural gaps. 'No surprises at diligence' is our mantra.
Then we dive in to fix what we find. Churn, pricing, sales pipeline, reporting, leadership structure. You get clear visibility of a better business.
We work with a short list of potential buyers. We've spent the time to understand their investment thesis, sector, size, and deal structure, and bring them qualified, relevant opportunities. A warm conversation with a buyer who fits.
The founder is prepared, expectations are realistic, and the structural work is done. As the sell-side advisor, we manage the due diligence and sale process with you, reducing friction, keeping momentum, and getting the transaction across the line.
Deal Flow: the differentiator
You've met founders who say they're ready to sell when neither they nor their business is ready. That's where we come in. By the time we introduce you to a founder, we've spent time in the trenches getting things in shape, tidying up the hygiene factors and asking the questions you'd ask.
Clean financials, categorised revenue, contracted ARR, documented cohorts, and a repeatable sales motion. The data room is ready. Forward projections are built on evidence.
Cap table is clean. Shareholder agreements are current. IP is owned by the company. Key contracts are assignable. The structural issues that slow deals down or kill them at the final hour have been identified and resolved before you're in the room.
Deals fall apart when founders panic during diligence, when valuation expectations explode, or when internal politics emerge. We've had those conversations already. The founder understands PE mechanics, has realistic expectations, and is psychologically ready to transact.
By the time you meet them, the due diligence is largely done. Your job is to decide if you want in.
Deal Flow: the value
The founders we work with are not running an auction process. We haven't sent a teaser out to a mailing list. When we bring you an opportunity, it's because it fits your thesis, and you're seeing it before the market does.
Deals fall apart when advisors lose control of the founder. We have deep, long-standing relationships built over months of working together. We keep founders calm, explain PE mechanics, and keep the process moving. This reduces deal risk for everyone.
We work for the founder, and we protect the deal. Our success fee aligns us with the outcome. We reduce friction and pre-empt issues to increase the chances of getting a deal done.
Current pipeline
Business Point is currently working with Australian SaaS founders across the following verticals. Businesses typically sit in the $2M to $20M ARR range, B2B, founder-led, no external capital.

Grow: portfolio value creation
We work with the leaders of portfolio companies to deliver the strategy that you have built, bringing execution bandwidth, practical SaaS operating experience, and a willingness to get into the trenches where value creation work lives.

From founder-led to investor-backed
Supporting founders and leadership teams through the transition from founder-led business to investor-backed growth company. When leadership capability does not keep pace with growth ambition, value creation slows and friction rises fast.
Execution bandwidth with a practical bias
The issue is rarely a lack of ideas. PE firms and operating partners often know exactly what should happen across GTM, pricing, pipeline management, and commercial execution. But portfolio teams are busy, under pressure, and often stretched thin.
Building the next valuation point deliberately
The objective is to improve the drivers that matter most at next exit: revenue quality, growth trajectory, leadership depth, operating maturity, and buyer confidence.

About
Business Point is a Sydney-based SaaS growth and exit advisory firm. We see opportunities before the market because we're embedded with founders long before they consider selling, building operating credibility, deep sector knowledge, and relationships that don't come from cold outreach. We work with a small number of founders at a time, by design. We don't take on businesses we can't get across the line.
